Mental Snapshots

My life at the moment:

Dreaming and planning. Scheming and shaping plans currently in motion, plans constantly shifting like sand – oh the best laid plans of mice and men! How thrilling, how cheerfully frightening is every enterprise partially-cloaked in the unknown! Distant lands, my shadowy future, being sketched out and slowly being filled in with every shade imaginable.

Enjoying the brilliant weather while it lasts, even as I welcome the early hints of autumn. Deep colors and fall textures bring part of me alive every year. In the meantime, stomping it out in summer sandals, white cotton, all that is bright.

Seeing Aristotle everywhere in my life; quoting, breathing Aristotle’s Ethics. Perhaps that is an exaggeration, but surely I have broken new records with my nerdiness. Aristotle is merely one example of this. It has definitely been an intellectually-fulfilling semester thus far!

…and it follows that, taking so many amazing courses, I would also be spending a disproportionate amount of my time in the library. I study mostly in my room, but I have been making use of “Club Lau.” Indeed.
