Learned to Kiss the Sky

Another three reasons to put Chicago on your Awesome Cities list (and you know I have such a list!):

The Art Institute. The new modern wing is beautifully comprehensive, with all my favorite artists and pieces to the wacky stuff that I wouldn’t hang in my living room, persay, but can appreciate. We should have spent more time here, but only had two hours to zip-line through maybe 75% of the wing!

Millennium Park, next to Grant Park. The outdoor amphitheater structure has acoustics to rival any indoor concert hall, according to my godfather. Live, free music and plenty of green to play frisbee, picnic, or read a book – basically the essence of summer!

The Chicago cloud sculpture, more commonly known as the Chicago Bean. You’re not too cool to love the fun house mirror phenomenon, I promise.
