Signs of Summer

2009 April 25

There is so much scope for imagination in the wind, especially those breezes that usher in summertime, summer playing, summer lovin’.

By the waterfront:

Summer is a-comin in, loud sing cuckoo!

People watching by the waterfront is amazing fun. Cindy and I found this terribly wobbly bench with the best people-watching view. Business people, Georgetown students, the crew team, avid bikers and runners on the way to the monuments, elderly couples hand in hand, restaurant servors on break, and a little dog. Much scope for imagination.

Georgetown Day:

Loving the vertigo…

Eat free food, ride rides that you probably shouldn’t on an uncomfortably full stomach, dodge the drunken revelry, reapply sunblock, pick up more free stuff, avoid the Gaap weekend pre-frosh and their parents…and repeat!

Somewhere in Virginia:

Prince William Boat Docks. Care to go yachting?

There is an awful lots to be imagined and wondered at in the rich, glimmering deep depths of water. How lovely it’d be to go boating and be that much closer to the water, feeling summery breezes in your hair!
