Stripes in the Sky

Retreat: (Noun) A time of group withdrawal, into prayer, quiet, reflection, and crazy insane bonding over games of Taboo (somewhat inappropriate at times) and dances on picnic tables.
How awesome would it be to live in one of those houses? As a vacation home, pretty much fantastic; not sure about a permanent residence though, the quiet/middle-of-nowhereness is pretty overwhelming too.

It was hard to return to my regular weekly schedule, but I have come away with pages and pages upon pages of journal entries, as well as an incredible sense of peace and surprising clarity…

i love the sky shots.
boy i could use a lakeside retreat. i guess hanging out by the beach is the next best thing in san diego…but it just doesn’t have that same sense of peacefulness that a lake seems to bring.
